Shipping Rates and Policies
Delivery and shipping charges are in addition to the cost of each gift basket. Shipping fees vary depending on the size and weight of the gift. Shipping options and prices will be given when you check out. Please check your delivery address carefully before you submit your order, making sure the recipient's address is correct and complete. Once the package leaves our location we are not responsible for it thereafter. We will attempt to make any changes or corrections to your order if possible, but we cannot guarantee this. You are responsible for providing the correct address when submitting your order. In the event that UPS and FedEx must re-route due to the customer's address errors, a $15 fee will be passed on to the customer. If they are unable to correct the address, they will return the undelivered gift to our offices. FedEx and UPS will not deliver to P.O. boxes. If the package is returned to us, fees will be charged for re-processing, re-shipping or re-stocking. Any customer refunds are made less shipping and handling. When shipping an item to more than one address you will need to complete an individual order for each address. It is recommended that you contact us if you have multiple orders (3 or more) so that we may work with you on discount shipping. Please review the shipping info on individual products for in transit ground shipping - in some cases ground shipping may be quicker and cost effective for you!
Should you wish to cancel your order, a restocking fee will be applied. We are not required to give a shipping refund if the customer gives an incorrect shipping address or if the package was undeliverable due to:
(1) the recipient is not at the specified address
(2) the business was closed for the holiday or weekend
(3) no one was home at the time of delivery
(4) package was rejected by recipient
(5) package was rejected by company or personnel in charge of receiving said package.
(6) no-one over the age of 21 was available to sign for gift baskets containing alcohol.
(7) the recipient has checked out of the hotel/motel or discharged from the hospital
We DO NOT recommend shipping to patients. UPS /FedEx/USPS is not responsible for re-delivery if the patient has been discharged. It is up to you to make arrangements on what to do with the basket if the patient has been discharged. If you insist on shipping to a patient you need to verify if the patient will still be in the hospital and it is advisable to provide a room number for delivery. Remember, the patient will have to carry everything home and in some cases they do not have the resources or the time to take verything and will leave things behind. We strongly suggest for the patient that you deliver to their home where they are in a more relaxed environment and more likely to enjoy the item and eat the goodies. We do not guarantee that the gift basket reaches the patient, only that it is delivered to the drop-off point. The hospital is then responsible for delivering it to the patient. Hospitals also do not refund money or pay for damaged items. They sometimes will not accept packages if a patient is released and you will incur extra charges to have the package re-routed. Our gifts are usually delivered to shipping and receiving and that department is responsible to sort out patient deliveries. They routinely take a long time and are very slow. This process may take 1-2 additional days before the package reaches the patient.We just do not recommend shipping packages to hospitals. Patients are often discharged sooner than expected, are on a restricted diet, or outside items are not allowed in the rooms. You ship at your own risk as we do not accept any responsibilty after the package leaves our facility
APO/FPO shipping: Only selected gifts can be shipped APO/FPO. We do not offer any claims, late delivery refunds or damage claims of any kind to these orders due to the shipping and delivery process. These orders also require 1-2 extra time for shipping.
During summer months it is necessary to substitute alternate items for most chocolate. In the event we are out of stock of a particular item we will substitute a quality item of equal or greater value.
All damage claims, discrepancies and late delivery claims must be made within 2 business days of the gift being received. No exceptions will be made to this policy. Customer may be eligible for a refund (full or partial) or replacement if one off the following events occur:
1. Product is damaged. Refunds are not given until the damaged product has been returned. Before returning a product you must contact us for written approval of refund. The customer must return the entire gift basket in order to receive a refund or partial refund - no exceptions.
2. Package does not arrive at its specified destination or is delivered to the wrong destination due to our error in addressing the package.
UPS Ground - Delivery up to 7 business days depending on destination.
UPS Next Day Air - Delivery next business day.
UPS Second Day Air - Delivery second business day.
UPS 3 Day Select - Delivery 3 business days.
USPS Priority Mail - Delivery in 2-3 business days (not guaranteed).
USPS Express Mail - 1-2 day delivery including weekends (not guaranteed).
NOTE: UPS does not count the pick-up day in the delivery times for ground delivery. Expedited shipping example: if your order is placed 2nd day air before 11 a.m. on Monday, it is shipped that day; If you place your order on Monday after 11 a.m., it will ship Tuesday.
Ground orders will ship out in 1-3 days.
Weekend orders ship the next business day.
Business days are Monday thru Friday.
Expedited shipping orders received by 11:00 a.m. CST will be shipped same day unless stated otherwise.
Note: expedited shipping orders received after 11:00 a.m. CST on Friday will ship on Monday. UPS deliveries are not made on Sat. or Sun.
Orders delayed in shipping due to an incorrect address are not guaranteed an arrival day when ordered expedited shipping.
Please take note that we are closed and no shipping will occur on the following days. All orders due to ship on these days will ship the next operating business day:
Memorial Day Observance- May 25 - 27th
Independence Day Observance- July 4 - 5th,
Labor Day Weekend - Aug. 30th - Sept. 2nd
Thanksgiving Day - November 26th
Day after Thanksgiving - November 28th & 29th
Christmas Eve - December 24th
Christmas Day - December 25th & 26th
New Year's Eve - December 31st
New Year's Day - January 1st
We are closed on weekends and holidays. No orders are shipped on these days, UPS does not deliver on Saturday.

If you choose FedEx 2 Day and FedEx Express they will be delivered if the recipient is available to sign for the delivery. Smaller communites with 2 day and Express service can take longer than deliveries to larger cities. Please make sure to supply us with the recipients phone number. If FedEx can not contact a recipient for any reason or can not access a building to get a signature they will leave a call tag. If the recipient does not contact FedEx the package will come back to our warehouse. We are not responsible for parties not responding to delivery for any reason. If we receive your package back Fed Ex charges us twice, once for the first delivery and then again when the basket gets shipped back to us, therefore we charge you again to resend. We will not ship packages to hospitals in Canada.
Shipping to Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut is by request only. Shipping to these areas are by FedEx Special Express Service and shipping cost is $150 per basket.
